I've had two deathadders in two years. The scrollwheel always fails on me. Now im not a fan of steelseries as the headsets I have won/purchased have always turned to shit within weeks rather than months. But I have to say that the specifications and what the Kinzu claims seem to be more impressive than what the deathadder boasts.
I play quake and I use my deathadder at 900 DPI and im a low sens player with a small amount of mouse accel, when using the deathadder it also tends to start skipping after 8 months usage, though this is very intermittent and could be down to the sensor collecting dust.
The thing that impresses me the most about the kinzu is the fact that it has a really low lift distance of ~2.0mm meaning it will stop tracking when you lift your mouse off the pad a distance of 2.0mm.
Though I have yet to buy one due to heavily biased reviews from sponsored teams littered around the internet and the price point of the mouse, I'm actually thinking of going back to an MX518.
