-freq 100 -freq 120

Hi,
I've recently bought the viewsonic vx2268 that can handle 120hz.
I was just wondering if there's a difference between -freq 100 or -freq 120 cause some people told me 100hz is better because max fps is 100.
Thanks

100hz displays 100 frames per second
120hz displays 120 frames per second on theory, but actually displays only 100 fps too. The difference is that at 120hz there are no rendering problems, like on nuke rooftop.

but what gonna happen when i set on my monitor -freq 100 or 120 because on my monitor max hz is 75 (SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH)

I have 60hz but i use -freq 100 and is good :)

I dont' use this...
