An article on walle
I'm always feeling bored to hear discussions on players' IDs. Even wordless on knowing people see walle as "Wall-E" (a robot movie). I struggled to find a word with deeper meaning to connect with this ID, but in vain.
For me, I prefer seeing walle as a shrewd fox - he is cleverer than any other players in this field. His talent does not only show on his awp skills or fragging abilities, but more on his amazing thoughts during the play. After flashing “Ah! This is how it goes" in your head when the round is over, you feel shocked – for walle had already figured it out at the beginning.
No matter attacking, defending during clutch time or key round, you will not point your finger at him. You can blame Robban for his mistakes, you can close your eyes for Neo for not having 4 reliable teammates, and even you can hypnotize yourself saying that f0rest was out of his mind today. However, walle is always there playing his role - like a robot. His ability is not grabbing frags in a row but collecting frags with his mind. Reversing the bad situation by precise analysis is where his talent shows.
Perhaps you will laugh at walle when you get a frag from him, but when you figure out his motivation for choosing his path, cold sweat oozes from your back:
1, Keep active and maintain the advantage.
2, Figure out how to eliminate the disadvantages.
3, Maximize the cost of opponents.
4, Anticipate opponents' position change.
5, Create a chance and grab it!
- That’s what he thought! In a moment!
When coming back to see the word "moment", I don't mean the moment for a crack shot, his action is as basic as a porter does his job. His marksmanship is reflected by his emotions: today he's happy, so he carries 10 bricks. Even if he doubles his work, that was nothing but physic labor.
cArn > walle?
Ignorant! cArn's point is to maximize players' abilities during the play, so you never see low morale in his team, it is always in that way. Fnatic's advantage is that they can do continuous kills at anytime to regain the control of the match, that's what other teams lack of. On the other side, walle focus more on teamwork: create the advantage and keep it is the priority. So they are both great leaders, but have nothing to compare with. In my eyes, if fnatic.walle plays with f0rest, gtr, dsn and gux, then the team is going to be tyloo but less; if SK|cArn leads KH, allen, Robban and face, then the team will be cYc (the author is a Chinese)
fnatic > SK?
1, f0rest. No doubt he is a great player in the world, but his ability is been exaggerated. Because f0rest is the player who has most fans, his team > all other teams for sure! Does that logic? Fanboyism make you blind boys!
2, Simplified strats. This is the main reason that makes the team looks bright: they are so easy to understand and accept. Just the opposite, SK's stats are always complicated and difficult to carry out with ease. So it's quite likely that due to the mistakes and accidents, the team does not looking stable. However, as we can see in the matches during Arbalet Sweden, the new lineup and new strat style is on the way to the stage.
3, What SK needs is walle's in-game leadership but not Robban's. As a sharp shooter, Robban should focus on his breaking jobs - he did so during Arbalet. Going back to the reform in 2007, the passion has gone but the fans stays still. We say, what does walle need most after countless missing to the championship?
It seems that no one knows.
Still, we see clues in the dim light.
After watching hundreds of demos, I realize that what he needs is just that his teammates accomplish their jobs.
Wordless, but a bitter smile.
P.S. In any aspects, walle > f0rest > NEO. F0rest is just a frag machine during the clutch time; NEO is just a sharp shooter which makes crowd go crazy.
What about walle? When your tears burst out for joy when watching a wonderful fighting scene, you will never know that walle is just that scenarist.

this is it.
This is not a religion, get a life.
Quite an interesting thread there. I like your analysis.
Unfortunately, you seem to only be looking at european players (to not say only polish and swedish one). I believe there are many great countries that have great players. I'm speaking of mSx from team emuLate/oXmoze in France, of Warden/froD/n0thing/Ninespot in USA, Shaguar in canada, glow or solo in Corea... teams Alternate, mousesports, eSTRO...
Nevertheless, quite impressive work, but you tend to become what you flame down : a "fanboy" [QUOTE]When your tears burst out for joy when watching a wonderful fighting scene, you will never know that walle is just that scenarist.
