SteelSeries Kinzu: bug or what?!

I got this mouse and I was pretty sure that it will work fine and I will enjoy playing with it.

Well, I plugged it and started to play some csdm. It felt comfourtable, size was good for me and I can bhop better now, but I found out one thing that annoyes me ALOT.. the acceleration in it. Even if I put "Acceleration: DISABLED" it still has the acceleration atleast a little bit..

If somebody knows it is a bug or isn't it a bug at all or something, plz, help me I really DON'T want to change mouse bcause of the acceleration and I don't want to get used to it bcause I haven't never used it on the other mouses.

I have downloaded the newest mousedrivers and stuff like that but there is still the acceleration. Someone says that it is a bug and it will get fixed in the future mouse driver update.. Well I don't believe it at least when I have seen the fixed update with my own eyes or I hear it from trusted source.

So please, help me if you know FOR SURE that it's bug or something like that.

Thanks =)

Use mousefix to disable the acceleration.

Nope, it didn't :(

Try with launch options... If this doesn't help, than get new KINZU..

I've tried it and it didn't work... But my friend's Kinzu has the same problem and the kinzu's information @SteelSeries.com says that Kinzu has "20G Acceleration". I'm not sure does it mean that the mouse itself has 20G acceleration even if u put "Acceleration: DISABLED" from the configuration or does "Acceleration: ENABLED" has 20G of acceleration... This kinda confuses me or im just very stupid.

Try to contact Steelseries true e-mail, and see what they have to say

It's not a bug.And yes - the mouse have a negative acceleration.
The same problem has a lot of people.
Well, hope SS will find out with this problem, maybe they will update firmware, like Razer do for DA (1.28NDC) or maybe they won't do nothing. :)

I have removed them :D:D:D The original glidz what it has are awful... At least for my mousepad (SteelSeries Qck Heavy). But that's only IMO and without the DOT.

cool

And my mouse isn't fine. At least the acc still is in it... I've changed the mouse already to Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 and we'll see if SteelSeries ramoves the acc in the next few mouse driver updates... :) If they do, i will at least test the mouse again and decide if i will use the kinzu or ime 3.0.

tell me what hz your intelli 3.0 gets maxed out.. pls

With usbrate.exe i can get 125-1000hz but i haven't tested it. I've tested max 500hz which i use right now. The mouse has 125hz default w/o usbrate.exe.

I have the same problems, and on fragyou.net there are many guys have this proplem too

for those who dont' understand : it's not the matter of disable mouse acceleration in windows or set noforce commands

with kinzu, even if you already do use noforce and disable acceleration

there is still some acceleration. . . wtf oO

it's really annoying . . .

I dont know if it would be fixed soon. I dont want to spend $40 for useless mouse. . .

And I cannot believe that Steels says they test this mouse with pro-players, I realize this problem on the 1st time I use it, dont' they ??

i had same problem
sold it

back to 3.0

+ kinzu is wayyy to small, better buy xai

viruz , noforce comands

ok

You don't feel the negative acceleration in your ie 3.0? Because I had one, used it for like 2 hours and gave it away because of the horrible feeling of negative acceleration. No drivers fixed it, and neither did the launch options or mousefixes.

At 125hz the ime3.0 has no negative acceleration at all for me, but once I toggle my ime to 500 or 1000hz, it has a really bad negative acceleration which sucks.

mousefix should do the work :>

oh my fucking god..

Well, i just fixed this.

First my cpi settings were CPI1 3200 and CPI2 3200. Pulling Rate 1000, Acceleration off.
And i had some shitty acceleration in game, after instaling CPL mousefix it was the same, and may other ways the acceleration was still there.

And now comes the funny part :)
I just changed CPI1 to 3200 and CPI2 to 1600, unpluged and pluged my mouse in…and that was it…no more acceleration for me.

I just f*** lol’d :)

really ? I update the lastest firmware and use with 400dpi, there's still some minor acceleration but I get used to it :)

Install drivers, configure your mouse as you like. Uninstall drivers and you're mouse acceleration free

I LOVE YOU synd. I've spend 4 fucking days fixing everything (even reinstalling whole damn Windows)

This damn mouse is driving me crazy!

It still isn't working normally... sometimes it doesnt react for a moment so if an enemy jumps me I move mouse to head and ... it doesnt move. What a piece of crap, glad GTR plays with it, I dont understand how many technicians had to help him fix it.

I got 1 tip what worked on my SS Ikari. You need to dl cpl gui which includes registry folder. Extract it to cstrike and there should be mausnoforce.reg. Drive it and voila. Worked atleast on me ! :)

It's just a common mousefix which disables software mouse acceleration on Windows. Kinzu has hardware mouse acceleration built-in so don't even bother disabling the software one. Everything is explained in the link above.

I think it's a poor excuse for their failure. Even those lies (about progamers) dont make it look good imo

i have that same problem with my ikari ://

I have that problem with my kinzu v2 pro?
Ideas?
