Problem with the CPU in CS
Hi guys,
I've bought a whole new PC which its CPU is Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400.
Some times in CS i move faster, FPS is not stable and it lags some times too. I've a AMD Dual Core before this and i installed AMD CPU Optimizer and it done every thing. No lag, stable FPS and not anything strange.
Please guide me how to do that for this Intel CPU. I didn't found anything which works like that AMD Dual Core Optimizer...
Thanks for your answers

I've already installed all of the drivers(I'm not a dumb! :D) and i looked for a program that equals to that AMD Dual Core Optimizer for this Intel Processor but i found nothing :(
Motherboard drivers, Graphic Card driver are all up to dated and installed :(
Haven't you who have an Intel Processor the same problem?

1.THing i have AMD CPU now. 2. What OS you have installed? 3. Test your HDD, i had same problem with vista srvc pack 3 ultiamte edition, and i had a lag because of slow 8mb HDD cashOS: XP Service Pack 3
Hard Disk: Seagate 1 TB 32 MB Cache
As i wrote i've the problem some times but not always :(
Today, i got my new hardwares. An ATi 4870 and a new power supply which is Axtrom 600 Watt. I thought my problem is the GeForce 9400 GT(The temporary graphic card) and maybe the 380 Watt Power Supply but when i changed them it backed to the previous situation :'(
I installed the newest ATi driver for 4800 series which is 9.9 :(
The FPS is between 98 - 100 in about more than 40 smokes(And surely more and i couldn't throw more because they were hiding and their smoking time were finishing(lol)) and for sure it could be 100 in those more 40 smokes but i don't know why it's not stable :(
Maybe the problem really concerns to my OS!
Windows XP SP3

I will install a new CS. Is CS compatible with a 64 bit OS? :-s
I myself don't think so...
