Why are the sweden guys so good in cs?

Because they have one of the best conditions for esport development and also there isn't much stuff to do in very cold winter :)

coz cs has come to their country first than many others. CS has come to Portugal 1/2 years later than the "normal" countries. Nowadays (thank god), games come to Portugal at the same time of other countries. :):):)

Because they have a great environment for development ! This high-speed/convenience online, and just the existing culture ! They started in the excellent histories that gave them unconditional prospects - numerous LAN/Online tournaments, a lot of interested sponsors, easy access and communication in the community, all this provides wonderful players ! Actually in every sport has its own recognized leading the nations !

Sweden and Denmark are also two countrys with excellent happiness level. They are so happy, that they are the countrys with more suicides.

Good players do come from the other countries, it's just the game didn't 'take off' as much in those other countries as it did in Sweden.

Geography played a large role in it too. For example, in Australia all the major cities are hundreds or thousands of kilometers away from each other, while in Sweden and most parts of Europe you can drive across a country in an hour or so. Sweden's area: 450,000 km^2 and Australia's area: 7,686,850 km^2, so you can see just how different the sizes of the two countries are. Also, a lot of good players come from America, but the major cities in each of the states are far apart in comparison to some of the countries in Europe such as Sweden.

Well there's no one easy answer to that. Sure the weather is bad but that's true for several Europeans countries. There's a general fascination with technology in Sweden, this fact alone meant that a lot of families bought computers very early on when the PC became widely available in the mid to late nineties, so a lot of kids had computers to play on. We also had quality broadband early on, this is mostly because the government decided this would be a priority, again, there's a general acceptance of technology, people see it as something good.

All this means that we got a head start and that we developed a gaming community that now is almost part of the culture. If your farther playe games you probably will, if your brother play games you probably will, if you friends play you probably will. It's become accepted in a way that is perhaps rare in other countries.
