I've never used barracuda and can't speak about it. But I use 5Hv2 and sound is nice for me. Dunno, maybe headphones of Razer is better =0

Barracuda is overpriced and some also say that it breaks fast. Instead I would buy a Sennheiser HD555/HD555/PC350 which costs about the same as the barracuda does. Barracuda/5hv2 fall in nothing compared to the sennheisers.
