i didnt have the ime 3.0 but i had the steelseries ikari laser. Ikari is awesome but it breaks 2 times in a few months :@.. i advise it.

Oh don't worry man, any gaming mouse will be good at CS, there are some trusted mouses, IE 3.0 is one of them, but it depends on your playstyle and sensitivity, IE 3.0 is perfect mouse for LOW/MID sensitivity because it's optical, if ure a high sens player go on a laser mouse :)
