All resolutions work fine with AWP, but the best one for me is 1024x768.

yeah i agree the best resolution for awp is 1024x768, 800x600 is good too =)

but 640x480 is better for aim with the colt & ak

anything above 1024 is unnecessary then? unless you want everything to look better

I played once with 1280x1024 and I didn't have any 'feeling' with it, so not only do I find it unnecessary, but worse than 1024x768, ofcourse the bigger the resolution = the prettier the game looks but I find performance more important than quality.

This is my opinion, you can always try it out yourself and see/feel the difference between the resolutions.
