Sense :-)

Well I've been thinking about this..
You think your mouse will perform better if you put DPI high and low sense ingame instead of low DPI and high(er) sense ingame. Both the settings have for example 15 cm for 180 degree turn. What do you guys think about it..? Atm I'm using sense 3.0 with my mx518 on 400dpi. :-)

2.0 @ 1600 dpi with MX518 :)
You must also take into account that if you set high/low DPI values it also has effects
on windows environnement...
so i think it's better to set dpi first of all (for win applications) then you adapt
the in-game value...

my mouse sucks

True, but you can easily switch back in 2 seconds to your normal one and still keep high dpi ingame.. so that's not the problem. You see, when you put a higher DPI, I think the mouse will become more accuracte in movements.

you know u also got to think about your windows sens also 6/11

If you change your dpi between cs and desktop, you will ruin consistency, you will have to get used to your dpi every time you open cs instead of it being the same every time youre on the computer. Higher dpi isn't always better if it's really high with a really low sensitivity, movements can become very inaccurate.

The only way to test things is to test it out. Go to an aim pub or a regular pub, and try to shoot people who are moving. if you are shooting behind them, raise dpi/sens. If you are too in front of them, lower it. Sensitivity is easier to change than dpi.

my mauspade :(

2.7 @ 1400 dpi with my Steelseries Ikari optical
