i know this would be weird but i played cs for the first time on 9 11 2001 when worldtradeingtowers got smack down lol i went @ lan saw cs was liek omfgggggg went home to eat saw them towers get pwned went lolwtf and went to play cs

It was 2000-th. I've been in the hospital with a broken elbow, readed some gaming magazines, and there was a review of newly released Counter Strike 0.6, if I remember well. As soon as I was released from a hospital, I laid my hands on this mode. Although I could only play with bots or in the internet cafes (and back then internet cafes in Russia were quite a shitholes), so it wasn't until the end of 2005-th when I got myself a decent internet connection that I started to play a lot.

I was probably around 14-15 at my cousins house, LAN with two computers and cs_deathmatch ;)

HAHA, the map that was played alot in the good old times :D That map is really funny, so was the older versions. 1.6 is so GAAAAH. xDDDDDD

1.3 and 1.5 was the best versions with the REALLY good players. ;)
