Best Overall player in their prime?
I think Michael "method" So or Griffen "shaGuar" Bengar
i dont think you can really distinguish who the best player is even tho you are mentioning their prime...
however you can name the top10 players in the world who are pretty much equal today i recon.
the time the player played is also important, when heaton was the best he was more ore less the best at his time but any top10 player NOW would pretty much rape everything in 2003 ^^

Probably ElemenT.
When you think of it, there's no other player who could have done such a great impact on overall team performance as ElemenT did. He joined GoL and they finished second two times at CPL, even though they weren't all that impressive without him. He joined eoLithic and made them one of the best teams at the moment. He joined SK, and they have been undefeated for a half a year or something. Then there was NoA.
When people talking about "best players ever", HeatoN and Potti are usually the ones who get mentioned most. And of cource they were fantastic players. But could they lead their teams to victory as well as ElemenT or say XeatR did? I think not.
But that's just my opinion.
