how can a laser mouse be similar to a optical mouse? are you talking about the shape?

PS: try not getting a laser mouse.. coz, if you have a speaker or AMPs underneath or beside your table the mouse will go berserk. coz the sensor is too sensitive with little vibrations. or even, u you were to go for LAN matches or gamesthe place will be noisy.. ppl will be banging their table (stress) or play with speakers. your mouse will be jumpy or the cursor will move by itself.. (personally tested RAzer copperhead and lachesis.. lachesis is good depend on the environment. copperhead is like so OUT... xD )
