What about why can other hear noises from distance that other one can't? Example nuke doors downstrairs, one can hear them upstairs and other not.... why is that? hardware volume? settings?

it's all about the volume
example:

In my usb phones I use 0.2
In the other ones (normal) I must use 0.6 in order to listen something..

I have an amplifier where I put my phones, and I use 0.8 volume, mut I have to lower it to 0.4-0.1 to hear something from ventrilo. But is this the main reason to hear further? ingame volume? Or Hardware volume?

cheap/bad headset maybe ?
