Hey everyone, just signed up and also picked up the Icemat USB card. I installed the latest driver for it and have been testing it in a few pubs...

Every once in a while, the headphones start making an awful sound. It sounds like whatever what was happening a second before the sound comes in, is being repeated at 100x the speed. After about a minute of pure madness coming out of the headset, everything is audible again...but the sound is sped up to about 2x to 3x, throwing off footsteps and gunshots. And everyone sounds like chipmunks.

I've also tried the headset without using the USB card, and I havent had the problem. Any ideas on how to fix the USB card?

Try to update your motherboard sound and usb drivers. And what hertzs you use with your usbs ?

Well i have the 5h v2 usb.. and i dont have that problem.. well.. my 5H need to be reapaired.. cuz.. a little problem.. not big deal.. but whateve.. i had that problem once.. Trying changin to 44.1 or 48 Khz try both.. maybe none of them.. desactivating the option.. Also trying the effect options.. in the main settings.. dont activate anything.. dont click in DSP option or in virtual 7.1

Well, I never used USB sound cards before, so I'm not sure where to change hertz..

I just updated the audio drivers... I forgot I reformatted my computer a few weeks ago and never got the latest audio driver.. everything else is up to date.

I'll check if that fixed the problem soon.

I am playing counterstrike through a 22" samsung monitor, G15 Logitech Keyboard, G5 Logitech mouse.

Well.. in the driver of the Usb.. In Main Settings there are the Khz.. In the Left.. it says.. S/PDIF Output.. it have a small button on the left.. if u press it turns gray.. so that means is desactivated.. u press it again and it turns blue.. When is Blue.. u can pick.. 44.1Khz or 48Khz.. Try.. =)

Don't know if im looking in the right place, but I dont see any option for changing the KHz anywhere, nor do I see anything about S\PDIF. I have the latest SteelSeries USB Soundcard control panel, and i'm looking under main settings. Neither are there. :\

Do this.. Uninstall.. anddownload and install this

After Installed u need to reboot, then u should see The Driver... in The Top.. 4 Options..

Just play without sound will be ok.
