Hey, i got this problem. whenever i go to a internet caffe to play some cs with friends, i shoot 2x better then at home, it feels that the shooting is, ummm, like much softer there (dunno how to describe that in other words). I tried all diff cfg's @ home, and still - doesn't help. So whats the problem? :S

The thing is, my pc is fine (quad core etc etc). And i dont got lags too, nor too big loss, and my fps is fine. And about cafe, im 100% sure pc are worse there then the one i've got here, and it's not about that ppl are lookin or smth too ;p I tried to figure out this with my friends, but we just don't know what's the answer here :o Thx for ideas tho :)

Maybe your fps is to low or something. I think that its better to play at home then on a internetcafe'..

Well what i did yesterday, is that i lowered my mouse sens on windows, cuz on cs it was 1 (minimum) and it still was kinda high, my aim improved a lil. But still, the shooting feels a bit different, and i know that it can sound a bit weird that i shoot better @ internet cafe then at home ^^

Check your monitor refresh rate. -freq 100~?

The internet-cafe's monitors can probably handle 100+ HZ, while your (I suppose flatscreen?) can only handle 75 HZ at highest, it's probably like 60 or something, that's the reason I guess, if the internet-cafe's monitors are large as hell (CRT) then that's probably why you feel it's so much smoother, which it is, with CRT monitors.

im 100% sure

it can be allot of causes,so let's start: CRT Screen with a high refresh rate such as 100 Hz and above..
the PING is one of the reason that you shoot better (lower ping = lower delay at shooting and killing)
and it can be the PC performance (stable 100 fps)
