Ill tell you IME 3.0 ,ive tried it and its really good. Dont bother buying G5 ,i just waste my money,bought it 2 weeks ago and its crap

My mx518 is still working but is getting used.
I wonder if I will buy another mx518 or try the steel ikari optical.

By the way: what's the purpose of the refreshed mx518 with 1800 dpi instead of 1600 ? only the 200dpi more ?
tbh I prefer a 1600 dpi mouse, because I don't have to install drivers, I can connect my mx518 to each computer, and I just have to set the ingame sensivity to 1.5 to have "my' sensivity.

Yes, no point buying new version of it , or it will take ages to set your IG sens. you prefer. Buy IME 3.0 :)

Is the steel ikari like a new IME 3.0 ?
I don't find the 3.0 in shops.

Steel ikari is diff. i think.I just bought IME 3.0 black yesterday, and it really good. I bought from game.

Try Logitech G5.

I had an mx518 back ina days. Today, I play with an IE 3.0 which is less big and heavy than the logitech. The time of adaptation is quiet good.
The 3.0 isn't cheap but hard to find elsewhere than on webstores.
I expressly recommend it to you.
