Anyone knows how to set 4:3 VGA screen mode on 16:9 widescreen? Switching monitors recently and I want to mantain the screen format from crt (vga). Send links, advice anything..

ive got same problem ;/ maybe try playin at widescreen resolutions :P or casual 800x600 at widescreen (looks weird) ;)

There is one called display mode and there you can choose between 4:3 and 16:9 )

Depends on the lcd. Mine has no such option. Manual doesn't mention it. GeForce drivers allow you to switch into 4:3 so I think there is some software that works as well for radeon that I have.

check if your gfx card can be set to "aspect ratio for games" or anything. If not you could play with windowed mode :) Or just use the widescreen selection in cs.

if you have nvidia in the new drivers should be allow to use 4:3 ratio

ive got geforce 8800GT and i cant find this option with 4:3 ;/ where's it? ive got the newest drivers aswell ;/
