Hi, what dpi are you using on your mx518? I have this brand new mx518 and I dont know which one should I choose. My friend said that 400dpi is best for low resolution, as Im playing 640x480.

So whats your:
Dpi, resolution & sensitivity IN game and in windows.

screen resolution has no influence to dpi, or vise versa =) it's doesn't matter.
Archi and forest used to play with 1600 dpi and 3 or 4 in windows, coL.Frod[A] is using 400 dpi.
I use 400 dpi, 6 windows, 4.2 in-game, that's a high sens.

1600dpi,.1.6sens ingame,800x600,but it's on you,how do you play,you must accustom your sens.

1600 dpi, 3 in windows, 3.5 in cs.
400 dpi, 6 in windows, 3.5 in cs.(sometimes :) )
Both with 640x480

I think 1800dpi is way too high. Im using 400dpi now with windows sens 6/11 and in-game 1.9.

i use 2.5 cs sens 6/11 windows 400 dpi

2 noforce commands ( not the mspd) + cpl mouse fix

try it out bro. its pretty good. it's all preference though. whatever you feel comfortable with
