Lag In Smoke
i have a nvidia geforece 8500 gt.
i have my vertical sync off and yet when i go through smoke i still lag...
does anyone know a solution to this?

fastsprites "2" in console try it and report .
no fastprites, it is forbidden, in your nvidia drivers config, check anisotropic, set it to 2x, after check textures and put high performances, and in your userconfig.cfg gl_maxsize "128".

i have a regular single intel processor, 2.5gigs of ram, and sufficient enuff to run cs...

clean the dust off your computer/hardware, maybe it helps.
Maybe your computer has spywares,viruses,Have you ever scan your computer for them?
whats the our cfg of your computer? its not all in the graphic you must have mutch ram and others

same here but 1.5gb ram :)
try 2 download config of Marcus "zet" Sundstrom from his SK gaming profile and he has "fps.cfg" with his cfg in zip file .. there are some settz which can help u ..
haha i have bad vid card RADEON 9250 but lag in smoke. i dont do fastsprites 2 because its not legal. and i get 100fps not in smoke, but in ONE SMOKE I GET 20-30 FPS..

Hey are you interested to have an old Catalyst version that runs cs 1.6 80 fps without any fps.cfg?Specially for ati radeon 9550-9600.
