Hi I just bought a new tft 19 inch widescreen. My question to u is when I play counterstrike i want i 4:3 aspect ratio. how do I change that I have tried everything don't know what to do. I have a nvidia Geforce 88000 GTX plz help and guide me througt it. :)

i want to know witch the best resolution for a 22" LCD is... can someone help me????
i cant find a good res.

with the latest forceware driver, you can make custom resolution (768X400, 800X500,.... for 16:10 widescreen)

buy 9800 gtx x2

Dunno if you can or not, i don't have a lot of experience with widescreens. You could always try and run in window mode.

There is something in Intel graphics(i don't know about nvidia) which changes *aspect ratio options*(in display settings).
You just change it to *mantain aspect ratio* and run cs in 4:3.G00d luck

in windows. 1680x1050 and in counter strike 640x480 but i still have the same problem as visbymannen i want to run cs in 4:3 mode with my 22" widescreen :/

lol! i fixed it! i just went into the options on the screen and used setup/image size. it said widescreen and i changed it to auto so now in windows i use 1680x1050 16:10 widescreen and counterstrike in 640x480 in 4:3 mode :D if you have a samsung screen that will work. :P

But you will have 2 two thick black stripes one on left of your sreen one of your right side of screen,maybe it works for samsung but for BenQ noup :)

i have a friend that uses benq, he went in to his monitor options and fixed it there! and ofc u get two black thick stripes on each side of the screen? cuz it's a widescreen monitor and it's made in either 16:9 or 16:10 :) just look around in the options and u will find it somewhere!

i have a 22" tft and i use 640x480 in cs and 1680x1050 in windows :P
