I just got these things off my friend and at his place the microphone did work using the mini sound card.

I'm using these without the mini sound card cuz my friend is keeping it so anyways the sound works fine (it makes a weird static noise everytime i walk and shoot etc dunno if thats normal) it could be because I'm using my really old on board sound card.

Well anyways I was testing it in vent and when i test it all u hear is just a fuzz sound thats all nothing else.

Any help? plzZz I dont want these to go to waste.

If it's only the mic that doesn't work, check the "volume thingy thingy" and theres a button with three different stages, off-low-hi. Check that you got it on hi.
