I use 640x480 in cs with 100hz. My monitor can handle 120hz no problem but whenever I switch to 120 my game feels really laggy. It feels as though im only getting 75fps even though I have 100 constant. I've noticed most players use 120hz with 640 so is there a fix for this?

set 120hz on video settings for your monitor. and add -freq 120 in your command line on steam. Then you should have 100fps with 120hz.

Basically download a program called Reforce - it will set all max refresh rates for each resolution. Then add -freq 120 in your CS launch options, and see if it still feels laggy :)

no need to do this. use software to specify 640*480 - 32bit - 120 hz. save settings or so and after u launch any programm on 640*480 - 32bit u will get 120 hz fo sure !!!

120 hz feels laggier because 100hz goes in sync with 100fps. 120hz may be a higher refresh rate, but as long as your fps is different from your hz its going to be laggy looking
