listen guys, my brother computer has a prety mush same ATi radeon and his got 100 fps all the time! so i checkhed and i saw that his driver vers is 7.2 and mine is 8.4...is it because of the diffrent versions? should i download 7.2?

I got ATI RADEON PRO 9600 SERIES and I have 100fps.. :)

I had 5/10 fps when my PROCESSOR was broken (Voltage too high KAB0000M)

The problem isn't your graphic.. you can play CS with the best graphics in ATI 9600...

its ok i changed sone stuff and i cleaned my PC from dust (A LOT OF DUST!~!!#!@!$) and now its 100fps that only some times drop to 99 :D

If whenever you are not sure in the advance settings for graphics, please dont change anything.If you did, you can always reset to default and try first.

To get 100fps in CS, you can bring the console down and type fps_max 101.After you entered it, this ensure your settings has been put to the max fps that you can get.For your ATI graphics,I'm sure you can get full fps without changing any settings in your advance graphics settings.

To get the latest driver, you can always download at ATI website and look for Radeon9600 series.Make sure you download and use the same model driver.

i have Ati Radeon 9200.. I have 100 fps.. nVidia graphic cards are better for gaming than Radeon.. You need to download the latest drivers for your graphic card and write in console fps_max 101, and than you will have 100 fps..

OMG just use the CD that was shipped with your Graphic card and should be fine.If still the fps are down just add more RAM if your CPU does not take it like mine:P(Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz 128 cache!!!),512 DDR RAM Geil DUal CHanel very satisfied.

#4. open aticatalyst settings- put all 3D settings to performance

and there is no option for Vertical Sync ....

I have ATI Radeon 9600 Series and I hate this video card. I have 100fps near 2-3 players, but in smoke grenade only 30fps.. Also I can't play in public servers because of fps drops (too many players near to me and i can't control my mouse).. shithappens
