What is it that makes de_dust2 such a good map? (At least I think so)

It's the most balanced I think.....
+ It has many surprises. Even if you know the map very good you can still find new positions.

True. That's thing i like about it the most. You can always discover new tactics and positions. I get new favorites every singel time I play it.

for me its the hardest map to play... but still a good map!

for me it's one of the easiest. For people who have played the game 5-6 years you just know spot's and where people are going to be. For me it can be a very boring map as everyone know's all the spot's where to spam and it's all done in the same way. But it's still good :D

I like Inferno and Nuke more.
But my thoughts about Dust2 are that there are many different places which require or allow different playstyles.
For example there is a long with large distance and a short with a very short distance where you can really nice flash and make a go as CT. Teams can also vary a lot. They can choose wether they are at long, short or even nearly only in the middle. You can cover very aggressivly or quite passive. It's even possible to rush up at the middle ramp and catch the Ts off guard maybe.
For Ts there also are several options for fakes, rushs or slow play with many small variatons.
