Recently i've been getting problems with my audio drivers and settings, when i use the mic in either CS or on vent / ts, it doesn't work, but in CS its different, it just makes bass noises that gradually get louder, and it doesnt record voice. I'm using the SteelSound 5Hv2 non-usb. I reinstalled the drivers to the most recent ones and have tried some combinations with the settings, none of which fixed the problem. I can easily say SigmaTel is the most pathetic soundcard company in the world. Any idea's on how to fix this?

Also i was interested what settings for audio / mic professionals use (on XP, not in-game) since the XP audio / mic settings affect in-game settings. Any idea's?
