Now i'm sure most of us can remeber the good old days of using CRT and for some including me somtimes those good old days are still intact. But for most people and lan's choosing to use TFT instead of CRT will it soon face extincition or will it battle on? I myself have two screens... A Viewsonic VX922 19" with 2ms response times also the ones used at IG5 which i am really liking. It's very flexable and can be moved into different possitions and looks great. I also have a CRT (iiyama Vision Master Pro 454) which i acctually bought reacently of madspunK as i'm sure most of you well know to replace my other crt which broke due to old age :( *bad times*. But what i want to know is what do you pre-fer the more quick and colourful crt screen but taking up alot more space and comfort. Or using a TFT which is very smaller and flexable but loosing some of that old CRT quality and magic :D. On the internation circuit it still seems that CRT is the preferd option by many pro's. Also adding to the fact that CRT screen have now been out of production to my understanding for some years it is increasing diffucult i would image of lan's such as WCG ect to organise to many CRT screen. So what's your preferd option CRT TFT :D

There are many tft's out their buddy that compete well with CRT take my viewsonic. 2 ms response time and god know's what colour frequency it has hehe cant remeber. But agreed buddy, there are some truly awful lcd and tft's out there :D. With lcd/tft make sure you check response time :D

I use a Viewsonic VX922 too. I actually like it better than my old CRT. It took me awhile to get used to it, but now that I've had the chance to play on it, I'm liking it alot more.

Yeah buddy i agree, it's a very nice screen and as i said before it's very flexable so it can adjust to your perfect view. Lovely :D

CRTs better, but once u get used to a TFT its fine, but CRT is still better.

CRT is better for sure , it has better frequency and reponse time for sure

I hate to play with LCD in some tournaments but the fact is LCD monitor is light, small and easy to transport from here to there . . . so all Stage tournament choose it

CRT. When it comes to playing CS on tournaments with or without CRT I'd say practice with CRT anyway, even if it's TFT on the upcoming tournament. I've tried playing with TFT before such a tournament and it's pointless, ur playing style only becomes more defensive and worse because you're not as good as you normally are when playing on TFT vs CRT. The change from CRT to TFT isn't big enough to make it worth practicing on. You'll get used to it fast on a tournament. But just from a decorative point-of-view, tft is alot cleaner @ home ;)

well my old one had some decent ones. but the current one right now, man they are big. and it's lovely.

Yep true walle buddy, i have both so it's just a matter of what i feel like. As you said it's alot cleaner and takes up alot less space. But certainly CRT are better quality. :D

crt, i dont know why but it just play's better

CRT over TFT in hz opinions but TFT gives some good image :P
