64bit Vista Home Premium for me. Though like John Carmack said, I think it was a stupid move by Microsoft for not skipping the 32bit version of Vista altogether, since they had a chance to make the technology and software go forward a lot.

Think about it, everyone who is thinking about moving to Vista already has a 64bit CPU anyway and software compatibility is hardly a problem these days, since nearly everything works with the 64bit version anyway. What's even more hard to believe, is that from what I've read, Windows Seven (the codename of the next OS that will follow Vista in a few years) will still have a 32bit version.

Amazing how people think that make-up effects(AKA Aero) contributes to Vista beeing all that good or better then i.e XP.

It's just a heist to cover up the flaws and bad design of the OS, aside from ME, Vista will be the windows version whom will get replaced the quickest.

you can make xp look as good as or even better than vista with just a few programs, not too hard, and it wont use as much memory.
