4 owners of The Pirate Bay, Swedish torrent site, have to go in jail and have to some million sek as fine.

They are making an appeal about the verdict, so it might seem severe atm...
They will probably do no time with the appeal if they have got good lawyers which I'm sure they do.
Anyways, they got one year because it was a political trial.
On the other hand, the funny part is that they can't shut the site down, they don't know who's hosting it. :D

fuck the court im pirate bay fan and i think torrents are unstoppable
That site is full of spyware and viruses, I am happy it got shut down. Go to Demonoid 100X better torrent site...
