The majourity of people use intel, and basically i feel sorry for amd becuase what happens is that AMD bring a brand new product out, top of the range then inetel just take it apart and use what they've done and modify it and make it better. I myself have an Intel Core Duo 2 E6600

I prefer Intel. But years ago I preferred AMD.
When I got my first computer, back in the 90's (yes, when I was a little boi xD about 5 yrs old) it got an AMD processor, but now you can look a long time for a motherboard supported to AMD.

So again, I prefer Intel - specifically the Quad core CPU's.

Now Intel is better. I use an AMD64 and I love it :D! I think next year AMD will be back on the top :) stay tunned

Quad Core Processors: Intel > AMD

Isnt it clear now? If you are on budget.. i recommend AMD processors.. so u could spend extra more on a better graphic card

Hmm interesting question, Overclocking was on of my pation xD
I personally run an intel Q6600 @ 3.6 ghz, q9300 @ 3.2 ghzz, e8300 @ 3.2, P4 @ 3.6, e6600 @ 3.6, e6300 @ 2.8 so you understood that intel is my favorite, but AMD try different things and for the moment i think intel is better but when we'll see new génération chips such one burned in 32nm, AMD will perhaps take the lead in the power race. So wait and see :)

If you wont pay much money for a CPU i recommand you the AMD CPU!
I use a AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ 3,0GHZ Dual Core CPU and its just perfect for gaming.
SK-Gaming also use the new AMD Phenom QuadCore CPU.
For overclocking i recommand you Intel CPU's.
