Hi!

It's about time I get a new mouse and I was wondering if anyone here bought/tried SteelSeries' newly-released mouse Ikari Optical? I was looking for an IME 3.0 S&S but it seems SteelSeries stopped its production.

Any feedback/advices are more than welcomed! Thanks :)

i'm guessing the ikari is immense, intelli 3 is enough for me though :)

yeah, hasnt been available for a while now, neither is the 1.1.

i had a bad experience with both the laser and optical version.

-laser had terrible neg accel
-optical had high lift off and jumping tracking @ 1600 dpi.

both got RMA'd

If you are a fps-gamer I would suggest the Ikari Laser. It is one of the best mice. Maybe you think Razer and laser, that wont work with FPS. But SteelSeries have done it and made the Ikari Laser. A laser mouse that works with FPS.

no they haven't, there's a wealth of people moaning about how shit they are.i know shops that no longer stock them due to the amount of returns.

reviews dont mean much, speak to real gamers that actually use it. or look at all the pros that got sent one and you'll see that none of them used it.

i read many reviews of ikari and all got 9 or 10 ... you say reviews are not mean much but when a product get so many good score it must mean a little :)

On Walle's profile it says he's using it atm, would like to hear some opinions from him or someone else who knows something about something.
