Headsets Showdown
i don't know which one to choose from these 3 (i want the best for accurate player position for CS) :
Razer Barracuda HP-1
Plantronics GameCom 777 Surrounding
SteelSeries 5H USB v2
I had Plantronics DSP500 great headphones for gaming but they broke,
now i have Icemate White Sibera with USB White Soundcard they totally suck!
I wonder if the 5H USB v2 are the same as Icemat White Siberia....
I would like to know how do you feel playing with them "with" the drivers
Specially Razer
Thanks

5H are for gaming only, accurate footsteps but lack bass and treble too high
siberia is just an allround headset, not as accurate as 5H in gaming but better in film/music

i remember using siberia with audigy 4, it was not bad at all, dunno what's wrong with yours
sennheiser pc350 for player position ...
5H is kind of bad for everything except gaming... I find them very uncomfortable too.
I'd get a pair of HD555 if you can afford them, one of the most comfortable I have tried (and I have tried a lot :-))
the sound is okay, but it still is A LOT better than the headsets you've mentioned. I'm quite picky about sound too so... gaming headsets suck.
grado is probably best bang for the buck for sound quality if you prefer clear sound but with not so much bass.
anyway the hd555 gets my vote for best all-round headphones for ~100$, comfortable, quite good clear sound, bass is there too but just enough. very well-balanced.
