MX518 skips on Steelseries SX
Anyone faced this problem with mx518? The mousepad is really nice, I like it, but Logitech MX518 skips on it and I am very sad about this. Could anyone help me?
how comes it skips?
You tried some other optical mouse on the SX?
Are you using mouse filter?

when I move mouse a little bit faster (in cs) crosshair moves crazy, unexpectable. IE3.0 works fine on it, but I don't like it. I don't use mouse filter, where can I turn it on or sth?
yeah same with the death adder, it kind of sucks. does not have anything to do with mousefilter, it's just that the surface of the sx that does not work too well with some optical mice.
damn u only say it now.........i already ordered one of those :@
I wrote email to steelseries support, they say that steelpad sx should work with all optical and laser mice... If my mx518 didn't skip I'd love this mousepad... Sooo smooth.. Unbelievable.. :)
well, it does work but not with fast movements right? it's a shame that it does not work perfectly with all optical mice. you can't really say it does not work well with certain mice because it wouldn't be good for business...
with slower movements it feels like it makes negative acceleration, so in both ways tracking is bad
The mousepad is really nice.
i use the Intelli 3.0 and the diamondback and there does not seem to be any skipping problem.
It's probably the mouse which had problem, try using a different surface to see if the mouse is working

Yes, on goliathus speed it works fine.
glidz would help on that problem
I have already bought skates. Anyway it depends on optics, not on skates.
