What is better for gaming peformance:Windows Vista SP1Home premium or Windows XP sp3 Home?
i'm using laptop.AMD Turion TK-57(dual-core 1,9 mhz)
Nvidia geforce 7000m (turbocache) 256 mb
4GB ram.

i choose vista because on windows xp sp3 u will have 3.2GB RAM of 4 ;] coz xp cant read more but that is not so big important if u want get XP ;]

depends on the games you play :-)

start out with that.

for instance crysis will run better @ vista for the RAM capabilities etc

and the Forumulate proces of vista wich is "readin "is coded way faster then in xp

although i wishi could use xp on my system.

Vista ... but only 64bit because supports to 16GB or more ! Vista 32bit supports max 4GB but avails possibly 3,5GB ! For faint PC ----> WIN XP SP3
