all time is good time to buy bot. if you get it before the midgame and the ganks start it will help a lot.
if you cant get it in time or if pt seems to be more useful dont forget to carry a tp scroll will you all the time :>

Myth

Towers.. and bases. If the enemies are doing a push and you're far out in a lane you will cause your team disadvantage by not having a tp scroll.

They also allow you to buy time. Say the opposing team has taken out 2 of your allies and they have 10 sec left on their reviving timer. A tower (or any building for that matter) gets 9999 armor while you're tping to it. Only with a scroll, not with BoT. If the remaining 3 all use a scroll of tp and cancel at the last moment, this can buy the time for the teammates to revive and push them out with 5.

i use then also to gank in the early stages if i get some hero to gank with. esp. if you can keep the enemies carry heroes low by ganking them much its more than worth to spend gold to a couple of scrolls.

I usually prefer BoT on all heroes, teleporting is so much more useful, not regarding the increased MS.

i wouldnt say that if you buy BoT for spectre you are wasting money, its help to farm a lot :)

I recommend every hero get BoT. More versatility, lane control, farming ability, and escape mechanism. Heck, i think every MYM player gets em.

Ye, I even get BOT on qop & magina, threads are only good if you didn't get bot yet and already lost all your towers while all you do is defend. Basically if you're not getting out of your base due to pressure.

Well the new pt is more useful, especially on str heroes. But i agree that being able to tp all over the map (pretty much) is insanely good and useful, both farm and gankwise.

I forgot about the str guys :O, I must admit I lied about always getting bot, on str heroes like sven & slardar I do get threads combined with mom while carrying scrolls.

I blame the exams, they're messing up my dota mind xD

Mostly Int-heroes buyes Bot as a good escaping, but in my opinion i would go for PT when not playing caster/nuker hero and buy some Scrolls of Tele.

Boots of Travel is a must with tinker, I'd get it straight after a bloodstone as he needs HP and mana, also His ulti refreshes BoT.

but a bloodstone on tinker? he needs disable more than anything else. so i would prefer a new guinsoo as it also gives him more hp, or shiva with its armor bonus - but a bloodstone with regen and hp/mana only seems to be a waste of money.

Yeah I usually go for a bloodstone because of the gold intervals you have when buying the single items, cheapest u pay is 875, dearest is 1200, if u die its not a big deal early game, but with tinker early game you should get a couple of nice early kills, them I buy my guinsoo AND shiva's after and make him a support hero, tele to any tower at any time and use his March of the goblins clears any wave of creeps :)

It depends of the heroe ure playin.....For Example....Venge's first item after 3 bracers should be BoT cuz its gang hero...or first item for Yurnero BoT it gives u 85 MS,Tp(chance to avoid gang or to gang)...From other side its not item that every hero should have...Example Magina...BoT gives Tp Ms but for some heroes u just need PT-power tread :) so think before buy BoT its not cheap at all 2700 gold :P
