I just wonder why viper isn't picked anymore in competitive games? He was often pick in 6.48b but after that he wasn't in any competitive game.

Some time ago picks was STRAT. Pickers didn't saw on enemy picks just to play STRATS. Now with -cm mode all pick heroes looking at enemy pick. Now in dota 10-12 imbalansed heroes and after ban 8 of them 2-4 pick just to pick this imba, other heroes gets to beat them. Omni, Chen not imba, but they give to realise imba tactiks for this they imba(players just skare all new). Viper now not use because players want to play fast games (games on skill) and everyone can to use imba spel every second with imba ult. But today picks doing Viper useles, when orb puck and Laser-rocket Tinker in 1 sekond can kill viper and every sekond teams need damage to win fights who viper can't give so fast

viper is useless unless you gank 24/7 but late game wont be as effective as other main carries
nobody picks viper because there are better heroes to pick from.... omni,es,tide,lock,dp,kunnka
just a few to name... my fav being DP and i usually pick PL for my carry, you guys might still be in the period of "IMA GRAB NAIX" but naw pl>all
