i heard about this item earlier, never really buy it but i c alot of people using it. is it usefull on EVERY hero? and if so, y exactly???

id like to know so i can start using it if needed. does it make a big big big difference regarding ur gold income etc?

Not on every hero..
I usually buy it to N'aix because he needs a good farm and sometimes to void or furion. It doesn't increase your gold income by so much, but if you know you'll have a good farm why not buy it?
If you have a good farm through lategame sell it and buy assault much better.

for some heroes that need attack speed and money at the same time :D

If you are chuck norris its great item. "Chck Norris can use midas on heroes"

Only for the Alchemist because with his 3rd gold rises.

DK can use it, your gain gold will improve a little, and also the item gives you some attack speed. I recommend you to use it when you farm pretty good in the beggining of the game, so when big battles come in you wont lack your important items.

it is good for heroes who need to farm but they farm hard like silence, furion, obsid, viper ... and it is good cos it gives as, but is good for dk, leoric .. :D:D

i think the problem more like this .... i buy it on most of the physical damage dealers if i can manage to farm the 1900 gold in the first 10-15 max i would buy it why not ?
i think if u're in the top lane it would make a difference in the gold intake(not huge, but u can sense it) i mean if u transmute the high tier creeps.

ok so basically if u cant farm midas within the first ten or fifteen minutes u should rather not get it? makes sense. ta guys :D

y ofc, usually u will make faster (if u are good farmer) :P

haha thats my problem, im so set on ganging that i struggle to farm in between, but im working on it so i hope i get the midas thing into my routine ^^

when i play gankin heroes it helps u in the long run of farmin, at least that's my opinion :D but still de 10-15 minutes rule apply xD

only heroes i get it are doom, silencer and baratrum....it makes no sense wasting almost 2 k for extra AS when hyperstone is only 2,1 k and gives u more AS and late game continuity, as for the money u can recover ur money spent on artifact in like 2o min or more of continuos use(as fast as cd allows)...rullz on bara with Jolnir, PT=> perma great bash from mid game

With the recent return of Chen in high level-play, Midas is bought to counter his pets. Other than that, I would stay the hell away from it.

There is one big rule for buying Midas! You have to buy it before 15 minutes pass, best before 10 minutes pass to make this item to give you more money while you farm. Else it is pretty useless because you if you cant farm it in 15 minutes, you wont farm better after on.

And buy it on Heroes, who have to have a fast attack speed.. it is useless i.e. on Lich or Bane^^ but really good on DK or Mirana.

Here are a couple of rules on deciding whether to get a hand of midas:
1) Is attack speed is important to the hero? And does the hero not have a good aoe farming ability? (Both are important because if the hero has AOE, I think it's better to go bottle first ie Shadow Fiend. Kinda dumb to get a midas on him imo)
2) Can I survive in the lane going hand of midas first? (if your getting nuked/harassed a lot and cannot survive in the lane, it is better off just getting regen items so you can survive.)
3) Can I get hand of midas within 15-20 minutes? (getting midas after 20 minutes isnt worth it)
4) Am I jungling? (adds a bit more value in getting midas if jungling)

imo it is not worth the money. If you farming well you really don't need it.

midas is useless if you can't farm it under 10, i never go midas unless im bored and i know im gonna be farming for a long time.

i see vigoss always buy midas..maybe good in ur farming so u can buy late game item
plus with 30% attack speed..sure helpful

he does it in combination with BoT, agility is needed too, a hero with 6 hyperstones will atack slower than a hero with 6 butterflyes...
