Why There`s No 1VS1 Dota International Tournaments??
We all know the Teams like Sk, Ks, MYM,.. and others but who is the best Individual Dota Player in the world right now.. Dont u all wanna know??

Ya I agree..Last month,it my hometown..there's a 1 vs 1 tourney which called DotA Solo King..
and there's many pro player out there..and the winners goes to Ineverlose
But i still hope there's 1VS1 Dota International Tournaments for best Individual Dota Player in the world!!

1v1 can proove many things ... but that does not mean that you are the best in dota :D and i dont think that the winner will be some of the pro guys...

1on1 isn't that bad, but then you should ban few heros/items.

Because DotA is a teamgame, I don't think peoples care who's the better player but who's the better team. In the end if you're good at solo you can carry up the game, but without your team you're nothing. ;)

ok listen up.there are several 1v1 games of pro players(just look on ggtv) BUT the mode is -aromshnp with 3 normal players on each side that means: all random same heroes all mid and no powerups and the starting gold is below 1300 gold so forget about dagon strats etc.

because dota isn't about 1on1, simple

1on1 is boring as hell to play and to observe + some matchups are really just about who can get the towers fast with almost no kills (2 tanks)

besides being a 1v1 champ wouldnt prove anything

i think a dota 1on1 league would be interesting for few and not relevant for most so there wont be any

I agree with daaaj. The best player isn't the one who plays alone. But the one who plays fine with your team. All the tournaments are team matches, because DotA is a team game.

The matter is not the tournament. The winner won't be choose to a good team bacause is easy to think in this way: "He plays so good alone, why he needs a team? How he will help me when I need?". So that's why I see no reason to do a 1vs1 tournament. For fun it's ok, but not professionaly. That's my opinion. :)

well about the 1 on 1 thing......I guess its just not that popular for now but for me I'm also very curious about who really dominate the top........

u dont start with 4000k lol! u start with 600k (slots with AI)
i think it is good, who is the best 4 creeping/denys and keep a lane (1v1 skill) :))

try to see this my replay SF vs SF (apnpomduoi) rule: no chik, no tp. get 3 point is thw winners like get 1 tower is 1 point and pwn 1 get 1 point, :)))

i play on battle.net with neutral host (u know battle.net is? is lagging not same with garena) and my nick is bdg-dkerza on game. i think my skill farming like Loda :DDDDD (that game is lag for me hard to do farm)

well for me garena laggs like hell dunno why, but on bnet max 1sec lag, on melee I cant stand that bnet lag, but in dota okay for me, but i like playin only when there are sweden hosts :D

That Dota is no 1on1 Because of Unbalance Creating a Map

There are many 1vs1 tournaments... game mode is -arshom or arshomnp and 3 slots are filled with compter easy, so each player starts with 800 gold, can buy a chicken and have as much money as if they had started normally at a 5v5 game. Check esl.eu for some replays^^

But these games are boring....like goalkeeper vs goalkeeper...

they also use NP(no powerups)

Because 1v1 DotA only covers certain aspects of the game. Loda, for example, might not be the best 1v1 player, but he does A LOT for his team. He is very good in every aspect of the game. 1v1 DotA would only cover a limited skill set required to be good at DotA.
