Hi.. Well i though of this forawhile. I have been watching alot of Proffesional Dota replays and Games at garena tv lately, and what i've realised is that i am doing quite much same moves..and also i realised that Public games,Dota-Div games is retarded. Once i started a CM Mode @ Div-league and went with the combo of following."warlock,Earth shaker,Terror blade, Priestess of the moon, Zeus and Puck.

They all mostly called me an r-tard Etc.. Is it a bad combo? or is it simply that they cant play suport.?, myself i think Zeus is godlike.. always helping out and Saving in last second..No i dont steal kills as i usually end up with 3 times more assists.

After this Kind of Like Bullshit i had to write to get the thread big and nasty i finally come to the question.
What should i do to get better in dota?, Should i keep trying to suport these Annoying kids on Public/Div-League? should i Whine on some clan to take me in?(not really my style :o?, should i go rape myself in hope of God's Help? Or maybe simply get back to Raw chicken and Chinese tapwater..

If you got any Complaints on my english.. then i am sorry and Hopefully you atleast got my point..Sorry for being Aggro on public. Guess i was stuck here for way too long.

Try find some likeminded and then form a clan. Pick what you feel like picking in a fw and you'll improve and learn what is good or not.:>

btw wl, es, tb, potm, zeus and puck are all good but tb is not that usefull though. Puck, zeus and wl are usually firstpicked heroes in cw's

Well you can always try to create your own team, find 4 clanless friends and practice a lot. If something goes wrong you will have some experience/friends in competetive dota and it will help you finding a new team much easyer.

It's an awesome team combo, but you might have difficulty getting 6 heroes on a team >.>

fr me ? i specialise myself to certain types of heros and press on them real hard ! i mean REALY PRESS and i got a whole lot better but compared to proff players i'm nth but a spec

well in publics you can't get better but there are so many ways ... like you got on the top of every page of sk-gaming.com FILES option there you put game dota and type replay and take some replays like sk vs mYm game 1 and game 2 and also other replays of matches are good and garena tv isn't bad and you can watch some on youtube just write your favourite hero name and watch,than you can play on garena with good rated players ,coz you can become better only with playing vs betters and some of my friends say that 6.56 AI version isn't bad for practising 5v5 but with mode like -ar also type -arngne or if you play -apngne they say it's not bad ....but i don't think so bots are the best way for getting better and you can also think on combinations of heroes magics and items and countering of some heroes .... i think about that like a hour every day .. :)

yy i did that, Well i will get a Dota-league acc in few days. Then i can start playing SIG games and maybe i get up to VIP games
and then i Show my skills with the warlock and they take me in ^^

Best way to improve: Play vs. equally or more skilled opponents as much as you can. DIV league is full of newbs so it won't help you get any better. Basically try to get into an inhouse league of some sort, or a clan and participate in tournaments, even if its not the best one, but its certainly better than any pub.

Well to start with, maybe i dident make clear i have been playing since 5.x and well..atleast a 20 times with hero, that is not the problem.. and also i kinda made clear i am supporter.

I rate playing with ppl together over a time in a clan helps a lot aswell as learning to be an adaptive player when it comes to hero combinations. Playing dota as a team is normally a key to victory.

How to get better in DotA?

First, drink tons of alcohol.
Then, piss your opponent with a trashtalk.
Feed your enemies using Techies.
Abuse bug.
Quit! when it seems that your lousy team is losing.
Go Vlad when using Queen of Pain.
Never put Assassinate on Kardel.
Get a dagger for Pudge or Venge.
A Desolator for Luna.
Get refresher for rikimaru.
Get lothars edge for rikimaru or gondar.
Then finally, go jump on a 30 story building while reading the Bible, Ok?!

That's how you get better in DotA.

My opinion is that you must send more time at it and try to ask others for information..!It would be good if you are watching dota videos..!Basically its the time you spend on it and the desire to learn it ;)!

Play public games, find some friends, go to dotastrategy.com to learn some item builds...

Read the Art of Mindgames and think when you play, don't just play like you always do. Think of what you should buy when you face a certain combination of heroes, which hero should i pick against that hero. Could i use that as a weakness, should i pick support, roamer, ganker, carry, pusher for the setup my team got.

My best advise would be to gather a few friends (or just look up a few guys to play with) and start to play some CWs in either Garenas CW rooms or mIRC got a great channel for Bnet CWs.

EDIT: Also you should think of how you play, should i play agressive, passive or a little fucked up against this kind that im facing on my lane, its all about control in DotA, not just about kills as in the end of the game its only the carry who needs the best items. You should always think when playing with a carry on the same lane, let him get the lasthits, you support him by taking the harrassment and denying. Feed the carry with consumables so he will not need to leave the lane because he got low hp and facing hard harrassers.
And when im fighting in the forrest, what tree should i stand behind when hiding, is it day or night (sight radius differ, less radius at night), at night a tree which is like 150 yards away from a enemy hero can still be in shadow when standing behind it. DotA IS all about thinking, strategy, courage, teamplay, and thinking outside the box
