I can't understand why lycan was almost never used in older versions like 6.48b and 6.52 in clannies? But now in 6.56 captains mode it is almost in every game a ban or pick?? Please explain???

wow boys you have to know the changes if you want to shine when you play dota :D check at getdota.com then changelog. I'm not 100% sure how he was before but now his wolfs got a critical strike abillity instead of bash. He's ulti gives him maximum movemenst speed for I think it is.. i'm not sure but 14 seconds or something. And while he is shapeshifted (in his ulti) he cannot be slowed and he also gain the criticalstrike ability. His howl gives 55+ dmg to all heroes in his team and a less amount of dmg to creeps. Lol now i'm not sure if feral heart gives attackspeed + dmg or movement + dmg but I think it is attackspeed + dmg but I have no clue how howl and feral heart was before the changes

Lycan's wolfs are really bad in critical dmg they hit hard and ultimate of the hero is so powerful. Lycan + bkb + eos =No escape + RIP!!

Lycan was good before. Probably not a cw pick but still very good when u want to own nuubies public=] now he is even better which make him a good pick in cw and can completetly dominate a public game

lvl 7 Lycan = wolf(lvl4),ulti = gg

Lycanthrope was quite powerful in 6.54 also in my opinion...Jungle very easily to farm without much danger, then when you're level 6, you can go to the nearest enemy and kill them easily with your Shape shift. I suppose that it's even easier to kill now if you get phase boots, because you could get blocked by your wolves if you cannot micro well.

Very good for team now with +44 dmg Global...that's somethin at only lvl 7....very good for early push and gang and his passive now gives dmg along with ms...very strong now
