Guys give me your opinion on the new magic stick. It gives 15 mana and health with each charge whenever a skill is casted by an opponent. Though it does not work with OD's arcane orb[would like to know about the rest of the heroes=)] Maximum charge=10.

I tested it a lot and it was never very good at all. Tried to convince myself that it was lol, because the design of the item was good, but it's just underwhelming in general.

Play it in 5s when you're lane'd with something like Lich. Otherwise, it's not worth it imo.

How about playing against spamming heroes like bristleback or zeus? This way it will be more effective, though the heal is still not very much enough to compensate for the damage of the spams.

I think that's the only situation where it's useful. If it would charge from allies then I'd get it a lot more often.

Yea that will be imba..but i dont think that will be implemented. Imagine laning with bb or zeus= free mana and hp!

I think its pretty good vs some lanes, like when u play vs kotl u'll always know when he is charging illuminate since u get one charge on the stick =)

Pretty useless now. It could be much useful if itd get charges from allies too ! If it gets imbalanced raise its price, lower charges etc...

Been using it against kotl, helps a lot. Good advice Loda.

Generally though, I still don't like the item. I grab it against kotl, lich, and bristleback. That's about it.

The magic stick is only ok for some stunners who need that extra little mana.

Using it vs Zeus is just ridiculous, I've did the math before but I'm too tired to do now...basicly max heals = 12 nukes of zeus....by that time you're already raped :).

yeah thats something il never forget

it seems that magic stick is very imba in cw's ... i started yo use on heroes like panda storm or magina etc... because they cant make any damage with magic and you have a stuck for instant heal... just imagine what happends in 5x5 battle the stick might be recharged more than 2 times and that is 300+ hp/mp....
also there are lots of other situations similar to "loda's" example... like nerub going to vendeta etc..

yes but lodas example is very much less predictable than a NA ultying tho.

Mgic stick really works against heroes that can actualy miss or use spells without damaging u...uselless against lich taht can finish u up with 3-4 nova. I usually use it against heroes like ursa, lina or any ways heroes taht can miss with spells....NA not a good example cause u get to hear him when ulties near, u do not need charge on stick for that...

Yhere a lot of examples...like a techies nuking the forest around you or heroes with buffs prepairing to atack(Magna, Ogre Magi or Lica)....so it's a very usegull artefact and so low priced :)

Have played with it mostly with Sven,Centaur
and Skeleton king.Nice to have mana for an
extra nuke or have some mana left for
Reincarnation/God's strength.

I rly think stick should be considered as it is kinda imba 200 isn't much of a price and if u think it doesn't work well vs some heroes[I think it can own pushers]

it's very good for stealth assasin since you can stack charges without getting damaged by spells (you're invis)
