this is Thomas of KODE5. I’m glad to announce to you that KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution decided to support DotA as an official KODE5 game for our season of 2008/2009. As KODE5 is new into the DotA sector we would really like to get your feedback and to cooperate with you on everything to have a great tournament for your community.

There, gamers can register for free and take on thousands of other gamers around the world for their share of two $2,000 cash prize purses as well as a slew of hardware prizes from both CM Storm and QPAD.

Here are the details for the first DotA Challenge:

Sept22: Registration begins

Oct6: DotA Challenge #1 begins

Dec15: DotA Challenge #1 ends

Here’s the prize payout:

1stPlace: $1,000 + Five (5) CM StormSniper Chassis

2nd Place: $500 + Five (5) KODE5 Edition QPADs

3rd Place: $300

4th Place: $200

Please notice that the brackets of our tournament will be generated considering the teams' origin, hence it won't happen that a team from Europa has to play an Asian team up to the quarterfinals. Consequently this will minimize hosting problems for all teams which are participating in our tournament. Furthermore KODE5 DotA Challenge will try to provide a sufficient amount of premium neutralhosts when it is coming to intercontinental clashes.

We would really appreciate a lot of DotA teams competing in the KODE5 DotA challenge in order to help DotA getting a worldwide respected part of the competitive esports family!
