Well i consider my self a good dota play but yesterday while i was playing a sd match i picked storm and i didnt rily know what ites to go for so i did 3 oblivion staffs + treads then got lifesteal is there any better things i shoulda done? please help

My build aint that good either, but try look at hero tutorials .. they will normally tell a good build .. :)

Alot of people go Mjollnir,Skadi with threads then smth like hp
I personally like Orchid,Threads,MKB,Buriza Lifesteal Cuirass

Ye deff get orchid & pt on storm, kinda everything he needs. Throw in deso & buriza and you'll rape most of the guys out there :D. Mask of madness is also pretty cool, same with skadi/satanic etc etc just try out lots of stuff and see what you like the most.

As for me, I'm going through a desolator - dota stage. I get it on most ranged heroes with pt, ac & buriza.

try some guinsoo + shiva build. disable + multiple slow is always a big deal, and if you have more money to spend a eos at last.

works out fine for me - and not only working in pubstomping

guinsoo/shiva seems like a waste. A whole lot of money for no dmg imo, just some armor and way too much mana regen. Storm is way better off with orchid it gives attack speed, disable mana regen, dmg...everything he needs. Deso/buriza after and you 3-4 hit ppl like crazy. (with pt). Only thing you COULD lack with this build is hp, just farm, skadi/hot after. Seems like a lot to farm but storm farms like a beast...easy to get 200++ cs in 50mins.

storm without disable is food. no escape since his ultimate carries close units with you. and the slow on 5th hit sucks as soon as people have invis/blink or can stun you to come into close range.

shivas = armor + aoe slow
guinsoo = disable, and with a single voidstone you can permause the ias skill ~

I can agree on the escape part, but one guinsoo isn't gonna save you a battle vs stunners and if you're in a one on one you can deff own your opponent with orchid. I'd get a bkb instead :)

skadi & mjolnir

Guinsoo is a great item, treads is good also. Maelstrom is nice, but Mjolnir is quite useless, 3.3k for some more AGI on an INT hero? Deso, Buriza is nice. As well as Orchid. Skadi is also very nice as you don't really have a reliable slow/disable.

i think this orchid treads mkb... etc build is useful in public but not in teamgames, he can be nuked just too fast. guinsoo is quite needed on him sooner or later and i love shivas on almost every int hero :)

Guinsoo doesn't help a thing in teamfights if you're a carrier, only item that works is bkb. What is 1 disable gonna do vs a whole team of disablers while your job is doing dmg? If you have a carrier in your team you should go Guinsoo but if you are the carrier I would get this build:

Warbuild:
-> pt/bkb/orchid/deso/buriza/skadi-guinsoo

It's like playing mirana with Guinsoo, it works great if you're like a 3-2nd carrier. Even so, most get pt/deso/bkb/ac on most carrier heroes nowadays. Tbh, I get it on slar/sk/nessaj/etc too but with mordiggian ofc.

My pubbuild would be:
-> Bot/midas/mom/orchid/buriza/skadi

This hero is weak anw probably the worst of dota, useless ulti if not with a really REALLY good compo,the mana shield as far as we can't purge it is the only good thing with this hero
Silencer is 10time better if u wanna carry with an int hero and make orchid/guinsoo

I never said mkb and clearly you have no clue.

You should concentrate attack speed mostly. Orchid good choice(especially in new versions its very imba) + pt it usually enough.Than buy some lifesteal its very effective with yor as.And yes buy bkb if needed but i always tries to avoid it. Storm is a carry hero not a supporter i think.
