What do you think about tournaments with other modes just like -rd -ar -ardm or -mm?
better or worse?

Here in Brazil, we've been organizing a "4fun" version of the biggest community tourney here. It's entitled Feeders Draft, and the mode is -sd. I found it pretty interesting, actually, as it's having a very positive progress. It's kind of in a test mode, as only 8 teams were invited to participate and test it.
