Please be as specific as possible, making sure to state what classes are on your team along with the specs and if asking about how I would approach a certain team make sure to give specifics on that teams make up as well.

I have played a rogue for a year and a half now, rolled a pve server but i found i loved pvp and i did alot of it while lvling, not a fan of pve at all really. Well ive watched many vids and especially enjoy yours and i feel i have gained alot of skill. However im finding it so hard to find an arena team thats going to get anywhere, im always on vent etc and put so much effort in to improve strategies vs classes.
I may sound like a nob, but i feel i could reach 1850+ if i actually found some team mates who have the skill and effort. Ive wanted to reroll alot and never gone through with it, looked at many classes but always missed my rogue. Would you advise me starting on a pvp server at the present time? its really hard as its probably the last season of arena until wotlk.
I kind of feel the same way that wow is just all about the set ups/gear now, it frustrates me so but i alays come crawling back. + with aoc and war coming out etc

I've changed recently spec to mutilate and like it much more than shs. Could u give me some ideas and tips for pvp combat. Also what team's are best for mutilate rogue (2v2, 3v3). A good talent build would be nice too, any high rating mutilate rogues to copy talent build? (Got 41/20/0) atm.

I just wanted to ask .. i've played numerous setups in 3v3 and 5v5. Almost every time there is a rogue in opponent team, I end up with him being up my ass. If he is s1/s2 mix whatever, it is rly no problemos. But if he is SS and s3+ then it is rly starting to frustrate me. Even if I manage to get off with a fear on him after deathcoil or smth .. he has like 31058783 ways to get out of the fear and end up my ass again. So, what do you suggest for a warlock to do, to get you off his/her ass? Let's add that .. how can I do it on my own, without druid spamming cyc, cyc, root, root ?

0-20-41 Offers a great mobility with Improved Sprint (but you already has a great mobility with ShS, with a lesser CD), SnD and WDS offers good sustained damage. Thats the PROs in combat tree.
In the other hand, with 20-0-41 you get Relentless Strikes wich is just priceless (and cheap to get, just 1 point). Malice increases your sustained damage and so does Lethality. Some say Ruthlessness doesn't worth the 3 points, I really enjoy this talent and this the other way.
In fact, I don't undestand people who choose go combat over assassination beeing Shadowstep. I know WDS + SnD is a great sustained damage, but without double AR anymore... It seems a bit pointless to me. So does imp sprint, if we have ShS to use every once in a while.

Another Mutilate rogue, but 49/0/12. I used to play 30/0/31 before and I find mutilate somewhat harder to play: way less survivability/cooldowns. I just refuse to play Shs because I love daggers, and although I try to not care about team ratings or being uber-pro, I do want to improve my gameplay. So, I am asking for general tips for arena/duels/pvp. BTW, I specced mutilate because I finally got Renataki's trinket ;)

FrostMage/Rogue (2v2) - rogue as shs or combat maces? Ive had different rogues try both specs, and while shstep is nice and all, sometimes those RNG stuns come in handy.
RMP (3v3) - Same question for rogue, would it be better for him to go combat maces for the potential stuns, or shall he stay shstep for the mobility...come to think of it perhaps the priest not LoSing that hunter could've......
Also: our rogue refuses to put 4pts into vile poisons.. he swears and states that someone "told" him that 4 in improved poisons is better.. what would you say on this matter?

Dude just wanted to say you’re a fucking "BEAST" I just started playing a rogue due to the fact my friend quit, I was playing a lock on TICH, anyway my question to you is this:
I wanted to know how you manage your energy, I mean let say you sap do and your open move is a cheap shot which will bring me out of stealth. What do u hit next, do you do 1 or 2 moves and on that second move try to gouge or kidney shot them, I mean I can't seem to get the stun lock down can you tell me what moves I do for that. Please include when to stop and when to go again. I'm spec 20/0/41 shadowstep. Another problem I’m having knowing when to blow CDs. I just need some advice on how to get better. Oh this is for arena's, dueling, and in general. I'm on 2s with a mage. So basically what I’m asking is what moves do u do for the stun lock and what moves to do when fighting face to face, do u spam sinister strike hemo or what . what are your main moves out of stealth.

Me and my college roommate are currently rolling a Rogue/Warlock 2 comp. and I was wondering, what would be the best spec for my warlock to roll. Also, what are good tactics against Warrior/Paladin, Warlock/Paladin or Druid/Hunter? Right now it just seems like unless we can't down someone within the first 30secs- 1 min, our warlock dies.
PS. I think its very cool for you to be doing this! I love your vids. Good choice of music as well.

I've watched all your videos, (even though I've been playing Priest for a long time), and I truly love them. Especially the last ones, they're amazing. You really inspired me and, a few months ago, I decided to roll a Rogue. This Rogue, Undark, finally hit 70 yesterday, and now I'm working my way towards the Gladiator set. My question to you is, what sockets would you advice me to use? I have no idea how much health/AP/Crit I'll end up getting with the full set; but it'd be great if you could help me out and give me an idea about what sockets to get.

all the following things are imho:
in gladiator set put like that: red socket:4agi+6stam yellow socket:4crit+6stam or 4resi+6stam.
in all vindicator items which u ofc will get from leeching AV put pure dps gems: either 16ap or 8agi
the point is that agi gems are good only for deep subtlety spec cuz of good "sinister calling" scaling
for other spec id use 16ap gems or 8crit rating gems.
also dont forget it will be awesome to have around 5% to hit.
not to miss your special attacks.

I'll just get to the point I have a main mage but i just about 2 months ago got a 70 rogue(which I feel in love with).He has 2 pieces of vengeful and 3 pieces of Gladiator the and all BG gear.He has the Gladiator maces and is shadowstep and I was wondering about the 2.4 patch coming out realeasing the new heroic weapons which will hopefully catch him up to my mage and I can make him my main.So should I get the daggers for mutilate from 2.4 which I saw on PTR was 1.8 speed even though people said they were 1.7 or should i get the fist was are MH 2.5 and OH 1.5 and stay shadowstep. Also I saw the buff they gave to the assassination tree which I wouldnt be sure if it would be worth it because I would be losing the mobilty and the surivility of the Shadowstep spec,and also would be would the weapons speeds of the daggers if infact 1.7 or the fist MH being 2.5 effect my DPS or effect it enough to not make those weapons worth 150 Heroic Badges.Finally my last question is on how you as a rogue got better from the bottom up I have been watching pvp vids,doing BG's, and Arena,dueling,and have read much on the rogue forums to read as much as I could.

When we got at 1650-1700 we started meeting druid/warrior and druid/hunter, and we are having a hard time winning. How would you fight against such setups?

I saw a lot Rogues running around with 20/0/41. And Today is just saw 3 Rogues havin' a pretty good rating (1800-2100) speccing 0/20/41. True that imp.S'n'D, imp.Sprint and DW is better than Crit%, Critdmg and Energyboosts?
I had a discussion with a friend of mine on Azshara-Europe, he's playin a Rogue with a 2000+ 2n2 Rating, and i had the idead to take agility gems like you. Got AP+Crit gems right now but i don't know if it's gonna be better for me using agility instead of AP and APCrit. So what do you mean? Why are u using Agility Gems?

Let me introduce myself first, i'm an european restorating druid who dinger 70 1.5months ago. Before that date i had nearly zero experience from pvp. I've manged to gather chest and leg pieces of s3 , full vindi and 3 pieces of s1. Currently running with 332 resilience and 1430 bonus healing.
13/11/37 spec.
Anyways back to business. I'm playing 2's with a rogue. We have manged to get 1850 rating in europe's 3rd most competitive battlegroup with a lot of boosting and team selling aka people @ low rating with gear+skills from higher rating. The rogue i'm playing with plays very offensively. We don't usually run in problems with healer+dps teams @ our rating, but the problem we face when we get rogue+warlock or rogue+f-druid or s-priest+rogue is that i can't stay alive in any damn way. We have tried different positioning,but with my gear(?) difference to theirs i cant outlast their nuke. So how would you advice us to play against them, what should the rogue be doing to help me out? Especially against warlock+rogue (very common team with 4/5 s3 in our BG). The rogue seems to be able to stun me enough to let the warlock finish me. If we go for the warlock, his pet and the rogue + a few dots do the same result. :/ Thank you anyways for even reading this.
I'd also like to try restokin spec in 2's but I seem to be even more weak against 2dps teams with that spec :(.
