I know what you mean, my main's a shadowpriest too.

The best (and maybe only) thing a Shadowpriest can do in arena is 2v2 with a decent rogue, that's what I'm doing now, and we seem to be doing pretty well. :)

Shadow sucks kinda bad in 5v5, because we go oom so fast, and we get nuked 24/7 without having a way to escape from it.

I was a very successfull shadowpriest in Season1 and 2 until the tourney, shadowresi ruined the game and there was no comeback after that. Games run way to long for a shadowpriest to be usefull.
Made a Mage to PvP a Month and let my priest Rest in Raiding , Once Shadow always shadow ;)

I played shadow season1 & 2 to 2.4k in all brackets on Misery but it's not doable anymore. The only thing you can do is 2on2s with a rogue, and then your gimping your team mates in other brackets.

My main is also shadowpriest, I got same problem :P No one wants me for 5vs5, But I did some 2v2 with a rogue, and with a warlock, and that is actually very efficiant :)

shadow priest and affl warlocks had a strong synergie, they were the bred&butter of almost all 4dps teams, including my team http://eu.wowarmory.com/hall-team-info.xml?se=2&r=Theradras&ts=5&t=Ms+is+Overrated&select=Ms+is+Overrated

but the non scaling of stats like armor / resilience since s1 combined with new stats like -armor on melee pvp items and the res/dot change kinda killed shadow & affliction in all brackets

plus as shadow you could always just play very aggresive lineups like 2dps 2on2 3dps 3on3 4dps 5on5 becouse of the short time window shadow has before going oom

Prot warriors don't have pvp talents like Silence or Shadow Resilience, so shadow ain't really necessarily a pve spec. =P

I have 2 Shadowpriests i use in PvP. Played shadow for 3 years now. My undead i currently play in 2v2 on reckoning BG, usually sitting in top 10. My alliance i play in 5v5 and 2v2/3v3 with friends. Just migrated to Stormscale (Cyclone BG) and used to play on Kazzak (Misery) at top 10 as shadow. So yes, shadowpriests are good and viable in arenas however. Shadowpriests videos lack the "BIG CRITS" people like to see and are usually kinda bland.

Shadow Priests have less viability than at any point ever in arena now. The only comp capable hitting 2.2k+ is Spriest/Rogue in 2s, being it does beat Warrior/Druid(The most popular combo) most of the time.

The only other effective comps with an spriest is like Resto Sham/Spriest/Rogue or 3 dps in 3s.. and 4dps in 5s. All of them are still not top-tier, double melee shits on shadowpriests harder than if they were disc/holy.

With the rise of triple melee and implementation of Pain Supression, there really isn't a reason to have a shadow priest over a mage/warlock in any 5s group now.

If played correctly Shadowpriest Hunter can be very good
For a 3v3 comp another good setup and probably even better at 2k+ is MM hunter, Holy Pally, Shadow priest. Just have to sort out your wide range of CC with the scatter, fear, silence, stun, silencing shot, ect.
As of 5v5 you have to run a 4 dps setup. I have seen a wide range of comps in the past 2 season's that have reached 2100+ and a good friend of mine is climbing above 2200+ with Shadowpriest, Frost mage, Resto druid, Rogue, Elemental Shaman.

Spriest rogue is really good for 2vs2 imo, Spriest on my server made 2,4k with rogue a couple of days ago . Could have something to do with the big amount of druid/warr teams there is in high brackets these days, as said earlier by other people.

Spriest/rogue is the best combo i think atm , it can be hard to play but as dps combos allways are. It takes much practice to get to 2k+ with it , but its posible

lol...WotLK talents make Spriest such a defensive nad deadly unit. warlocks gained cripple... and DK is absolutely unreplaceable. I think the hardest WotLk setup will be SP/Lock/DK.
Yes ofc u will start shouting "NO HEALER" but just think about the huge burst from SP and CC from Lock. And more about heal: Vampirick embrase from priest + Mark of Blood from DK will allow to survive. Since SPs have Dispersion and DKs got tons of armor + lots of parry chance, the main target will be Lock... that will allow SP to deal damage (Vampiric Embrace heal much).
As I said SP/Lock/DK FTW!!!! but thats only imo.

Spriests aren't that bad.

In 2v2 you can do great with a good geared rogue (especially when you are double UDs or dwarf/nelf(priest)-human(rogue).

In 3v3 you can play triple DPS setup which is great if you communicate and do it as you have to. And they also very fun to play.
Some known setups for shadow priest in 3v3:

-Spriest/Rogue/Lock
-Spriest/Lock/Shaman
-Spriest/Spriest/Rogue (very rare:])
-Spriest/Lock/Druid
-Spriest/Rogue/Druid

I'm not used to play 5v5 with my shadow priest but I think it can be good with a setup like:

-Spriest/Mage/Lock/Rogue/Druid

Or something like this.

Even tough I always get angry when I play my Spriest with a rogue in 2v2 ('cos of RNG WTF MACESTUNs and Druid/Rogues) I would never ever roll to Disc/Holy :P

But! If you would like to play more setups and maybe "easier" setups you should roll something else.

All in all, if you are an Undead Spriest and you can find a good pvp/pve geared Undead Rogue you could do great in Arena. So Good Luck
