For some bosses you will without doubt need a shadow priest, but not for all of them. you can do felmyst, kalecgos and maybe twins w/o sp if u have good mana regen

Shadow priests are most welcome to any caster group. They end up on dps groups most of the time though, but in return the dps output is significantly better.
