It's always worth to have at least 2 paladins in the raid. Even though paladins have a hard time to perform as well as other healing classes it doesn't mean they are useless. Imo it's important to gem for spell haste as a paladin and get used to a more holy light heavy playstyle. Paladins can still do a lot of HPS (3k on Brutallus etc.), they bring important buffs to the raid, and are sometimes really useful with a prot specc (Felmyst, M'uru).

To sum it up, your guild will have to use paladins for sunwell progression, so you shouldn't worry too much about not being useful.

downranked most of the time, however there are a lot of situations where you know when to spam max. rank (stomp on Brutallus, KJ with Revitalize). The SSC libram which lowers the mana costs of your HL is also a huge boost, because even without haste it gives 85 mp/5 and the more haste you get the better the libram becomes.
