mage/rogue

hey im playing rogue 20/0/41 with am age 17/0/44

i would like to know few things

first of all , do you think its possible to hit 2.2k as mage/rogue on tich..
2nd , wats would u do on sl/sl lock / resto druid ..
3rd , wat u think about that tac on druid/warrior .. my mage shoot a shatter combo as soon as possible while i stay on the druid.. then he kite the warrior to the oposite side of the map if possible nad i just stay on the druid and the mage pet also so i gotta make him kite around pillar or shit to avoid mage dmg then he switch to the warrior with 2nd pet in that oposite side of the map while i stay on the druid to try to make him go under 30% while his warrior is dying then we can finish one of them.. i mean if i can stay on the druid the whole game.. if i can do enough dps to make him pop ns before our warrior burst its over i think
4th , which is the best against rmp .. warrior/rogue/druid or rogue/rogue/druid? :o

thx for answering my question

i play rogue/mage on cyclone EU, we reached 2.2k and slightly higher.
it was just against Druid/lock we got owned badly.. real bad. also quite hard against druid/warrior as u say. all druid teams are hard with rogue/mage.

on number 1: Kill the warlock pet. the rogue should open with premed
but there is no real uber tactic that always work :l

the rest i dunno :p

against druid/warrior: rush down the druid
against druid/warlock: rush down the druid
against druid/hunter: rush down the druid
against druid/rogue: guess yourself.

against warlock and hunter you might as well kill the pets first, tho its not really needed

mage/rogue is a pretty straight forward setup and is highly dependant on fast kills. and yea its easily gladiator or even #1 capable

for a mage to own a sl/sl lock its really necessary to take the pet down first, as he most likely will be using felhunter which is a fuckin pain for other casters.

VS druid warrior we always start on warrior, then when druid pops up, the rogue blinds the druid so he have to use trinkert. Sometimes we have the warrior down by then if we are lucky. Most of the time warrior is low hp so the druid needs to use his instand nature cast cooldown to heal the warrior. Means the druid is out of cooldowns. We sheep the warrior and go after the druid, hes much easyer to kill without trinkert/NS.

Versus lock druid you just need to go after druid imo and get lucky... Look when the lock his pet CS you, after that try to fully burst. But even better then that, take a snack and just lose...

@wickr: Why kill the felhound? Warlock can summon him back instandly...

And btw... we never got 2.2k rating... but mages fail in 2v2 anyway, cuz in my BG 90% of the games we face the OP droodz :<

Tbh you can only kill druid teams if 1. you get lucky, 2. druid makes a mistake or 3. the druid is a noob.
Imo, a druid can fully outplay a mage.

Goodluck in arena :p

P.S. Check the Vilden movies, you can learn alot from it i guess...

@wullat
a human rogue increases the chance of mage/rogue against warrior/druid to about 99,x% tbh :p
sap the druid, burn the warrior

a) druid trinkets, gets blind, warrior dies
b) druid doesnt use his trinket, warrior goes sword n board and still dies

rogue searches for the druid, finds it.
rogue calls "hey mage, i found the druid!"
mage opens on the warrior
druid pops to heal/cyclone/entangle what ever
rogue (well you need one as a partner whos not retarded or brainafk all the time) smashes his sap hotkey and catches the druid right after his switch out of cat form

yarly.

and there you go, exactly one fucking try for the warrior to save that game: intervening the blind (needless to say that fails in about 99 of 100 tries)
