Balance Druids, answers needed

Hey guys, just some short questions, hoping you can help me out here.

I really want to reroll horde, and I was thinking of a Balance-specced druid. What do you guys think? Is the class viable enough for Dungeons/raiding ? As far as I can see, they have also a perfect gear setup, which can bring them to +1.3k bonus damage, which is really great and viable in my opinion.

So... my question again, would be great if SK druids would answer this :)
Are they viable as a caster class ? I really hope for some positive answers here.
If not, what about elemental shamans ?
One more thing, I really consider going all PvE.

Roll an ele shaman if you want to raid.

I disagree with notafama, balance druids are viable in raiding from caster perspective, buth the thing is that you need to collect your gear that you dont oom when the obss still has 95% left.
So mp5 is the shit.
But overall balance druid is very viable for raiding, as I see it.

Good idea the Dreamstate... but I would surely switch between Gift of Nature, and put Wrath of cenarius in between. What do you think ? It maximises the damage output, or at least i think so.

Acutally for mana regen for a doomkin, its spirit / int you should aim for and not mp5.
Spirit and Int scale really well (and gives you damage) mp5 does not.
